The "First Siege of Ayutthaya" ("aa·yoo·tuh·yaa") is a low-to-moderate complexity tactical game set during the 16th century Burmese-Siamese War. In 1547, two opposing forces in collide in Siam (present-day Thailand), battling for control of Southeast Asia. Who will prevail? The stage is set.

1548. King Tabinshwehti of Burma has invaded Siam (Thailand) with a huge army, including the Viceroys of Prome and Toungoo, along with several hundred Portuguese mercenaries. Chakkraphat, the new king of Siam, and his marital queen consort Suriyothai, have desiced to engage the Burmese on the Lumpphli Plain just north of Ayutthaya to weaken the enemy and buy time for troops under Prienthoratep to arrive. The stage is set.

The "First Siege of Ayutthaya" is a low-to-moderate complex game of the epic battle of Ayutthaya during the Burmese-Siamese War of 1547-1559. The game takes about 90 minutes to play. One player commands the Burmese forces and the other player commands the Siamese forces. Cards vary game play. 

MUSEUM EDITION ALSO AVAILABLE - a new folio version which features a paper map (instead of canvas). This game is otherwise the same as boxed and folio editions.
